How to use Family Medical Bill Ledger
- Look at the example family first: Mia's bill shows a mismatch, and one $200 check is split across three bills.
- Click 'Start with my own data', add family members, then use '+ Log visit' for each appointment.
- Open a visit and add the provider bill, primary EOB and secondary statement, with any pasted email text and photos. Use 'Add corrected version' when a new bill arrives.
- Under Payments, record a check, tick the bills it covers, and enter amounts or use Auto-split. Any leftover and any underpaid bill are shown.
- Click Export JSON to save everything, including photos. Import that file later to pick up where you left off.
