Neighborhood Git History
Pick a file and a distance N to list recent commits that touched any file within N code-reference hops of it.
Runs fully in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
1. Source snapshot
Pick the repo folder or a .zip. node_modules, .git, dist, build, vendor and non-source files are skipped.
…or drop a folder or .zip here
2. Git history
Run this in the repo, then load or paste the output:
git log --name-status --date=iso --pretty=format:'@@%H|%an|%ad|%s' > history.txtOutput with --numstat or a plain git log --name-status also works. Renames are followed.
3. Query
Release range and filters
The range applies to both the commit list and the release table. Hashes match by prefix.
References are matched by name (a file uses a class or function another file defines) and by import paths. There is no type checking, so treat results as approximate. The graph uses the snapshot only, so deleted files never count as neighbors.
