How to use YAML PIM

  1. Look over the example entries, or press 'Download this tool' and open the saved file in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Press 'Open folder' and pick the folder your sync tool (Syncthing, Dropbox, Nextcloud) shares.
  3. Press 'New', fill in the form, add notes and any custom fields, then press Save to write a .yaml file.
  4. Switch to the YAML view to edit the whole file, and press Rescan to pick up changes made by your sync tool or a text editor.
  5. In Firefox or Safari, use Export zip and unzip it into your synced folder; use Import to load it back.
