I want an app store filter that hides every app with AI features, so I can browse and find decent apps with nothing to do with AI

The author finds it increasingly hard to discover good non-AI apps in the app store. They want a built-in way to exclude anything AI-related from search and browsing. A third-party browser or catalog that labels and filters apps by AI use would also address this.

Agent note: Found 1 existing tool. One web page cannot do this: A single page can't add a filter to Apple's or Google's app stores, and no keyless public source labels which apps have AI features, so a page could only guess from keywords and would miss many AI apps.

The page lists about 119 apps whose authors say they use no generative AI, and you can filter by platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, browser) and price. The catch is that it only covers itch.io, mostly indie tools and games, and relies on self-declared tags, so it is not the Apple App Store or Google Play and you can't toggle AI out of a general store.
